Volume N° III - Articulated Intimacy

An interior becomes intimate not through decoration, but through recognition.

The third volume of Les Dedans gathers homes in Perth, Paris, Prague and Bucharest where identity is not expressed as image, but as structure. Each space reveals a precise alignment between those who inhabit it and the environment they shape, where architecture provides clarity, and objects, materials and artworks accumulate into a language that is personal without being declared.

This idea extends through encounters that consider how identity is formed in relation to culture and practice. Marva Griffin reflects on a lifetime of identifying emerging voices in design, while The Grand Sablon in Brussels reveals how historical layers remain active through everyday use. In the studio of painter Cornel Brudașcu, artistic practice becomes another form of inhabiting space. Across these perspectives, intimacy is not a condition of the interior, but the slow construction of a recognizable world.
