Volume N° V - Slow Accumulation
What makes a space meaningful is not how it begins, but how it changes over time.
The fifth volume of Les Dedans follows interiors shaped by duration rather than design intention. Across Melbourne, Mallorca, São Paulo, the Australian countryside, Bucharest and the hills of Transylvania, each project reveals architecture as something gradually formed through use, memory and the quiet persistence of everyday life. Materials soften, surfaces record traces, and rooms evolve into layered environments where time becomes visible.
This perspective continues through practices and reflections that treat time as a constructive force. Dimorestudio speaks about atmosphere as something accumulated rather than composed, while the Eames House is revisited as an enduring argument for continuity between life and design. At Atelier Osanna Visconti, objects carry the imprint of making over time, and conversations with artists Victoria Zidaru and Răzvan Popovici extend this attention to duration into the realms of sculpture and music. Across these experiences, accumulation is understood not as excess, but as the slow formation of meaning.
